Gary, IN isn't really all that scary.

So last week my beloved new friend Allie invited me and The Bob for a glimpse of life on the other side of the lake for dinner.... So into Gary, Indiana we go.

Our first stop in Gary was to the market so we could get the items Allie and Aunt Beth needed for dinner.

So onward to the lake we go and to our surprise this part of IN is actually not flat! The beach was surrounded by beautiful dunes and we had the pleasure of making it the shore of Lake Michigan just as the sun set.

So back to the cottage we go where Aunt Beth and Allie prepare us the most delicious meal!

So far much of my posting has to do with food or drinks... Well that is what Chicago has to offer - Good food and drinks made by great people.

Summer in Chicago.

I have been calling Chicago home since Memorial Day and I have been told by many Chicagoans that I am lucky to have moved up here during "the heat of summer".

So with the dog days of summer rolling in, I am spending my time divied up between half heartedly looking for a job and acting like a real tourist in this city I now call home. I have had the fortune of meeting some wonderful people so far and even sharing a few of my adventures with them... So let's recap my latest conquests:
